APPETITE SUPPRESSANTS FAQ
Appetite suppressants are a prescription medication and MUST be taken as prescribed by our medical providers. At your appointment, our medical providers will review your health history to determine what dosage and frequency of appetite suppressants that best suit your lifestyle.
Appetite suppressants are considered a schedule 4 controlled substance regulated by the DEA which means it can have some potential for abuse. With the guidance and assistance of our medical providers and patient care team this should not be a concern as we are giving patients the long term tools required to be successful without the use of medications.
Discontinuing the use of appetite suppressants should first be discussed with an AgeRejuvenation medical provider.
AgeRejuvenation cannot submit to insurance, and most insurance does not cover appetite suppressants at a retail pharmacy.
The cost of our medical weight loss program with appetite suppressants can vary based on the length of the program and patient goals. Talk to an AgeRejuvenation Patient Intake Advisor to discuss individualized pricing and potential specials available.
